Degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Business Organization, DEA and PhD in Management and Business Administration from the Universidad de Vigo, obtaining the award from the Royal Academy of Doctors of Spain for the best PhD in the area of Social and Legal Sciences awarded in 2012.
He has worked in Business Organization since 2002, at the Universidad de Vigo, Santiago and La Coruña in the period 2002-2006 and in the Department of Business Management and Organization of the School of Engineering and Architecture of the Universidad de Zaragoza since 2006, currently occupying the position of Senior Lecturer. He has recognized two six-year periods of research activity granted by the CNEAI.
He carried out research stays in Business Organization at the Universidad de Vigo for 7 months and another for 6 months at the Universidad de La Coruña.
He has participated in various research projects and contracts with firms and public and private organizations. He has published his research papers in journals such as International Business Review, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, Review of International Economics, Applied Economics, Sustainable Cities and Society, Prague Economic Papers, Science, Technology and Society, Revista de Administração de Empresas, Argumenta Oeconomica, Drvna Industrija, Revija za Socijalnu Politiku, Revista Venezolana de Gerencia, Procedia Social and Behavioral Sciences, Journal of Technology Management & Innovation, Intangible Capital, Revista Galega de Economía, Estudios de Economía Aplicada, among others.
He has presented research papers at national and international conferences. One of his works won the 2013 Bernardo Pena Award at the International Congress of Applied Economics (Asepelt).
His research topis are internationalization, productivity, foreign direct investment, spillovers, absorption capacity, innovation management and human resource management.
