Degree in Economics and Business Administration since 1992 from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and PhD in Economics since 2009 from the Universidad de Zaragoza.
She is assistant profesor and Deputy Director of the Department of Management and Business Administration at the University of Zaragoza, where she works since 2002. Until 2004, she combined her professional activity in private sector companies and at the University. She has a six-year period of research activity awarded by the ACPUA.
She made a research stay at the Department of Business Administration of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid for a period of three months.
From 2019 to the present, she is part of the management team of the Management International Division of the Spanish Academy of Economics and Management (ACEDE) and was editor of the Newsletter of this division from 2016.
She has participated in research projects and contracts with companies and public and private organizations. She has published her research papers in journals such as European Journal of International Management; Journal of Business Economics and Management; International Journal of Business and Commerce, among others.
Her areas of research are growth and eficiency, especially in relation to the internationalization of SMEs, and Operations Management.
