PhD in Economics and Management (University of Zaragoza). Associate Professor of Business Organization at the same University. He is currently vice dean for industry affairs of the School of Engineering and Architecture. He has 2 six-year periods of positive evaluation of the research activity and 1 of transfer research activity.
Other positions were research fellow at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (in 2004), deputy director of the Defence University Centre (2010 – 2015) and research fellow at the University of Southampton (in 2019).
His research and publications are in areas such as the economic analysis of the firm and the industry, competition policy and regulation, or the design of incentives in public-private partnerships. He has more than 60 publications (articles, chapters and books) of research results and dissemination. See his publications on Researchgate.
In the teaching field, he teaches subjects such as Fundamentals of Business Administration, Managing the Digital Transformation, Energy Markets and Theoretical Fundamentals of Business Organization.
He is very active in transferring knowledge to the industry and policy makers, he has worked on issues such as competition policy or firm competitiveness.
He is also the coordinator of the program University Expert in R&D Management in the Firm by the University of Zaragoza.
